Xan founded Artixan Consulting Group LLC in 2010 to advise companies on highly effective and sustainable strategies for crafting workplaces where employees can thrive.
Xan is a seasoned workplace expert with twenty-five years of experience in collaborating with clients to manage workplace risks, increase employee engagement and productivity and drive positive culture change. She is a certified leadership coach, an engaging and dynamic workplace facilitator and leads several of Artixan’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI) projects. She also assists organizations with culture reviews, workplace assessments and provides strategic human capital advice to companies in growth stages. She has a unique perspective and understanding of the challenges faced by companies in encouraging the capabilities and growth of their employees while protecting investor interests and the bottom line. In addition to working directly with clients, Xan oversees Artixan’s operations and ensures that there are available resources and consulting expertise on the team to meet client needs in our service areas. Xan also leads Artixan Investigations PLLC, a boutique law firm that provides impartial workplace investigation services.
Early in her professional career, she was an employment law attorney at Proskauer Rose, went on to senior legal roles at high-profile, publicly traded companies, including PepsiCo and Bristol-Myers Squibb, and served as Chief People Officer and General Counsel at Krush Technologies, a software technology startup.
Xan is a board member of the Women’s Forum of New York, and co-founder of Just Inked, an ensemble of theater lovers who support the Signature Theatre’s mission by serving as ambassadors for diversifying and expanding the Signature community. She is certified by the Center for Executive Coaching and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR-HRCI). Xan also completed the Mediation Intensive Training Program through the Center for Understanding in Conflict. She received her JD degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and has a BA in Mass Communication Studies from the UCLA Honors Program, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude.
