Xan is a seasoned workplace expert and founded Artixan Consulting Group in 2010 to advise organizations on highly effective and sustainable strategies for crafting and implementing solutions that increase employee engagement, productivity and drive positive culture change. Xan has a unique perspective and understanding of the challenges faced by organizations in encouraging the capabilities and growth of their employees while achieving critical business outcomes.
Xan is a certified leadership coach, an engaging and dynamic meeting and workshop facilitator, and specializes in workplace assessments. In addition to working directly with clients, she oversees a team of specialists in People Strategy, Change & Culture, Professional Development/Leadership Coaching and Meeting Design & Facilitation. Xan also conducts and manages impartial workplace investigations handled through our related firm, Artixan Investigations PLLC.
Early in her professional career, Xan was an employment attorney at Proskauer Rose and spent more than a decade in senior roles at Fortune 100 companies. In her role as Vice President and Assistant General Counsel at Bristol-Myers Squibb, Xan was pivotal in the design and implementation of company-wide competency models, performance management systems, and risk management programs and served on both the Human Resources and Law Department leadership teams. She was the Chief Human Resources Officer and member of the senior leadership team for Krush Technologies, a software development start-up, and designed and implemented programs for the entire employee lifecycle including recruitment, onboarding, coaching, professional development, comp/benefits, culture initiatives, etc.
Xan is a Board Member of the Women’s Forum of New York and is certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR-HRCI). Xan also completed the Mediation Intensive Training Program through the Center for Understanding in Conflict. She received her JD degree from the Georgetown University Law Center and has a BA in Mass Communication Studies from the UCLA Honors Program, graduating Phi Beta Kappa and summa cum laude.
